What’s In That Building?
Many of you around town have wondered if RCI Adventure Products closed, moved, or if the business has been sold. I just wanted to let you know that the building at 1300 Lincoln Rd. formerly known as the Ropes Courses Inc. headquarters or Delano building is still controlled by JML Real Estate.
In the ever-changing landscape of 2020, RCI Adventure Products decided to finally consolidate its manufacturing operations into a more efficient plant located inside the city limits of Allegan. That left us with a decision to either sell the building, lease the space or take the opportunity to develop a new business in that space.
We saw an opportunity with the new boat and RV sales that occurred in 2020 and decided to meet this new storage demand by developing a solution that offers indoor, heated storage for those that either don’t have space, appropriate ceiling heights, or heated options at their own property. We know first hand that boats, RV, and any recreational toys can be expensive. When we were looking at options ourselves, we quickly realized that quality indoor, heated spaces were not easy to find in the West Michigan market.
Xtra Stor is located at 1300 Lincoln Rd.

With all the recreational opportunities in our state, we thought it was interesting that there are not ample storage solutions for customers. So, Xtra Stor was born. We have a fantastic manager, Eric Belka that is getting the word out about Xtra Stor and happy to get customers set up in our space. Although we are new to the storage industry, we have been customers in this space and understand the attention to detail and how much a quality space is important to the customer.
